It’s July, Let’s Grill!
As native Texans, we are fans of the outdoors at CKC Custom Homes, as I’m sure your family is as well. We know the importance of having an outdoor kitchen and living space for your family and friends to gather and hangout. Chuck’s favorite thing to do is grill, and our kids just love swimming in our pool and lounging about our patio! When we design our client’s custom homes, we are always sure to add an outdoor kitchen according to our client’s specific needs and wants.
Outdoor Kitchen Appliances
You can’t have an outdoor kitchen without appliances. At CKC Custom Homes, we offer our clients top-of-the-line appliances for their kitchens. We think the essentials for any outdoor kitchen should be a grill, utility sink and mini fridge. Our interior designers will go with you to the show room and guide you through the process of choosing the best appliances to suit your needs. In the photo featured below, our client decided to go with a Coyote Grill, utility sink, mini fridge and the very popular Green Egg.
Backyard Fire Pits
Fire pits have always been very popular features in backyards and for good reason! We designed this fire pit in the center of our clients horseshoe shaped pool. It is topaz glass and has a remote start. The fire pit adds a nice ambience for any outdoor occasion and is an essential tool for S’Mores. Let’s face it, what is a summer party without S’Mores?!
In this home we designed the outdoor kitchen with bar seating over looking the pool and the beautiful hill country view. We made sure to add extra fans to the pavilion to keep the guest cool and to move the smoke away from guest. We think of everything! And yes all of our homes come with our signature stained tongue and groove exterior ceilings.
Patio Television
Adding an outdoor fireplace to your pavilion is always a great idea, we highly recommend it. It adds a great space for family to gather. We suggest adding a TV over the fireplace to make entertaining easier! If you notice, here our client decided to upgrade the flooring to stone pavement as opposed to stained concrete.
