Step 2 of the Home Building Process: Designing Your Home with a Set of Plans

By February 9, 2017March 7th, 2024No Comments

You’ve purchased your lot, interviewed and picked out your builder, now it’s time for the next step in the process…actually putting your dream home on paper. For some clients this process can seem daunting, but at CKC Custom Homes we have had 15 years to perfect our craft and make the plan design phase very seamless for our clients. We only work with the top architects in the city, so be assured that whatever images you have floating around in your head we can assure they are drawn out and within budget.

In your first meeting with CKC and our architect we always ask that you bring your inspiration pictures along with you and we will even take a look at Houzz and Pinterest together to get a good idea of what you like and the style you are going for. Every meeting you have with the architect will be held at CKC Custom Home’s office and a member of the CKC team will be present to offer insight and make sure the project stays within your budget.

Here we have Chuck and Kristal working late reviewing a set of plans for a client and crunching numbers to make sure they are getting everything they want within the price they have set.
